When I signed up for Belles of the Brawl, I knew Haymakers for Hope was an amazing organization and loved the idea of taking on a huge personal challenge while raising money for a great cause.

Not long after I accepted the fight, the cause became much more personal. Jenn, my best friend’s sister-in-law, lost her battle with bladder cancer, leaving behind her husband, Jimmy, and their 10-year-old son, Landon.

I never expected this fight to have such a personal meaning when I signed up, but I’m grateful to have the opportunity to step into the ring in Jenn’s memory and raise money to help others fighting cancer.

On October 14th, I’ll be fighting for Jenn, for the people who love and miss her, and for everyone still fighting.
