I have seen firsthand how deeply it impacts the lives of those around me. I know people who have lost loved ones to this disease, and I’ve witnessed the pain, grief, and helplessness that cancer brings to entire families.
My sister worked as a nurse in an oncology unit, and the stories she shared were heartbreaking—stories of strength, suffering, resilience, and unimaginable loss. Hearing how much it affected her emotionally made it clear to me just how devastating cancer is—not just for the patients, but for their families, caregivers, and communities.
That’s why on October 9th I’m stepping into the ring—to raise money, to raise awareness, and to fight for those who can’t. This match is bigger than boxing—it’s about making a difference and standing in solidarity with everyone touched by cancer. Every punch thrown is a punch toward hope, healing, and a future without cancer.
