I joined Title boxing gym at one of the lowest points in my life. I felt so welcomed and encouraged by the community and the sport. Since joining Union St Boxing I feel equally as supported- my team is like family. When one of my friends suggested I apply for Haymakers For Hope I was terrified, but I really wanted to be able to see if I could positively impact others' lives and give back using something that was able to vastly increase my quality of life. Of course, I've also been affected by cancer, both with my friends and family. I'll be donating to the Susan F. Smith Center for Women's Cancers at Dana Farber, especially since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I'm thrilled to be embarking on this amazing challenge and journey.
