Goal
Cancer.
It used to be this word that I would hear but never really impacted me until last year. 2 people, near and dear to my heart, were diagnosed . 1 lost her fight, the other won.
Our friends and family who have been affected by cancer, don’t have a choice. They wake up every day and have to fight for their lives. Those fights last more than the 6 minutes that I will be fighting in the ring. 6 minutes is nothing compared to 6 months or 6 years of fighting. I have a choice, so I’m fighting for Gran, who lost her life to cancer, and for my Aunty Sheela, who is a warrior, for the fight she put up and won, against a rare form of cancer. I will forever be inspired by the strength and resilience of those who are fighting cancer – they are the real heroes.
Please join me in my fight for this mission and let’s KO cancer together. This is just boxing, not cancer.
