Thank you for visiting my page. I'm extremely excited and humbled about the opportunity to fight in the 3rd Annual Belles of the Brawl on Wednesday, October 7th at the House of Blues.

I first experienced the impact cancer has when my childhood friend was diagnosed with leukemia and lost his battle just a few short years later at the young age of 16. That loss had a profound impact on me, I remember feeling utterly helpless and with each passing year another friend, relative, or acquaintance I know is threatened by this horrible disease. Some of those fights have been successful and some have lost their battles along the way. All I felt I could ever do was be supportive and pray for the health and well-being of those close to me that have been impacted, but the Haymaker for Hope organization is allowing me the opportunity to help on a much larger scale.

Boxing has always appealed to me... the physical and mental toughness of a boxer is unlike any other athlete in the world. When I first heard of the H4H organization I was immediately drawn. Combining the physical and mental challenge while supporting a great cause was a win/win for me!!

I can't wait to participate and hope that the people reading this page will join me to watch an awesome event on October 7th and/or donate to this great cause. Every single dollar is appreciated and nothing is too small.
