After attending one of the Haymakers events last fall, it was clear this was something I wanted to be a part of. The passion, energy, and of course all of the funds raised for such a good purpose was exhilarating.

Being a mom to a 6 year old little girl, health and wellness is on my mind more now than ever. I want to do anything I can to contribute to a cause that keeps families together for as long as possible. I have been touched by so many amazing mothers and fathers who have fought through cancer to be there for their own families, and can't imagine a world where you have to think about losing a child to cancer. I also have a huge admiration for two friends, and mothers, Molly & Kristina, who have fought their own battles with cancer and have proven to be a huge inspiration for myself, their children, and so many others.

I'm stepping in to the ring this September as a sign of support and dedication to cancer research and treatments, so no mom or dad has to have these things weigh on their minds.

I truly thank and appreciate every single family member, friend, colleague and stranger that is willing to be a part of this journey with me for the next 4 months.
