Cancer has effected everyone in some capacity, it's inevitable at this point. With Haymakers for Hope, I can help bring awareness, raise money, and push myself both mentally/physically all at the same time, what more could I ask for!? 

I would also like to take a moment to remember my late grandfather, Peter Beacham who fought a long battle with prostate cancer. Even when his health started depleting, he never stopped looking at life with the glass "half full." That positive outlook and strength is definitely something I will be channeling over the next several months of training. 

And how could we mention Papa without also applauding his wife, Janice Beacham. Mimi fought her battle with breast cancer almost a decade ago and to this day she continues to inspire me... she is the backbone of our family book club! 

I am honored to be a part of this organization and will give my all in both my training efforts and fundraising! 

Let's knock out cancer together!!!!
