“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
My name is Caroline Casey. I am 28 years old and I’m from Braintree Massachusetts. I first heard about Haymakers for Hope 4 years ago. I was instantly inspired and knew I was meant to do this. I worked hard and stayed connected, checked emails and social media, and attended events to find out when the next opportunity was. I applied many times, and finally 4 years later I was accepted! My love for boxing and my passion for connection, community, and making a difference have motivated me to help Haymakers for Hope knock out cancer.
When I was a freshman in college I lost a very special person in my life to bladder cancer. Her name was Paula Connelly and she was like a second mother to me. It was especially hard because she was the first person that I was super close with who I watched experience and go through this horrible disease. So today I am fighting in her honor for her and her family- Steve, Lauren, Leah, and Elizabeth. I will also be fighting for Val and Janice Bracken, Barbara Cook, Brenna Crowe, and my grandfather Thomas Casey. Thank you for following along and checking out my page. Please consider donating to help such a great cause. Thank you for all the support!
