When my best friend since the fourth grade was diagnosed with cancer, my heart was broken. My strong, beautiful friend was literally going to fight for her life. I don’t know why, but I knew deep inside that she would win this battle. “Although she be little, she is fierce!” I couldn’t be more proud of her for keeping a positive attitude through her fight. She is now cancer free. A survivor!! 

My childhood sweetheart (my first kiss) recently lost his battle. I know he will be in my corner when I step in the ring on October 10 for my first amateur boxing match as I FIGHT FOR A CURE!!
