Unfortunately, It'd be hard to come by an individual whose life hasn't been affected by cancer in some way.

When I was in elementary school a friend of mine lost her mom to the disease. It was shocking and heart wrenching. I couldn't fathom going through such an experience and facing that type of pain as a young girl.

Cancer sucks. 

Since then, other friends and family members of mine have lost loved ones. I'm fighting for them.

I'm also fighting for my badass Grandmother who fought cancer a few years ago and is still here cooking for, joking with, and loving all of us. We got lucky. If I can be half as tough as her, I got this in the bag.
