Hi! My name is Jane and I want there to be no more pain due to the awful disease called Cancer. Cancer has affected my life in many ways. I first learned the word Cancer too young when I lost my Papa (Thomas Sullivan) to lung cancer. My Nana (Faye Sullivan) was recently diagnosed two years ago with kidney cancer. Luckily, she is a fighter and is now a survivor. This helps me get through my training knowing I have her cheering me on ringside. My college roommate, and best friend lost her mother (Marion Devlin) to cancer her freshman year of high school and I am fighting for every girl like her that needs to go through those crucial years without their mother. Every year, I volunteer at a camp for kids with life threatening illnesses called Camp Sunshine. I volunteer during Oncology weeks and I have seen these families go through hell and back trying to save their very young children. With your help, I am trying to make a very small difference in #KnockingOutCancer. I am fighting for everyone out there that has to hear this potentially deadly word...CANCER.
