Goal
This has been a tough time for so many people. We've all been affected in various ways but we keep fighting and moving forward. Cancer is something that doesn't discriminate. It's always there. But we don't have to lay down in front of it anymore. We have opportunities to flight and find ways to eventually beat it.
My father was diagnosed with bladder cancer shortly before the pandemic. Thank G-d for the recent advancements in the medical field we were able to have to fight it. We're only going to get better as time goes on. Unfortunately I lost my father in January of this year. He was my biggest fan and supporter. I miss him every day.
I always wanted the opportunity to run the NYC Marathon and the first charity I thought of was Haymaker for Hope. I boxed with them at their first New York show in 2012. My dad was one of the first people on line to get in and I know he will be there with me at the finish line. I'm humbly honored to be running the NYC Marathon with H4H. This is for my Dad, my family and everyone affected by this disease.
