On April 15, I step into the ring not just to fight — but to honor the people who have shaped me, strengthened me, and inspired me. This fight is for my aunt, Leona Lee, whose life was marked by love, resilience, and a quiet courage that carried our family through some of its most difficult moments. She passed from cancer, but she never let the disease define her. Her strength, her grace, and the way she showed up for everyone around her continue to guide me every day.

Training for Haymakers for Hope is a new kind of challenge — one that demands discipline, vulnerability, and heart. But compared to what cancer patients and their families face, every early morning, every bruise, and every round is a privilege. I’m fighting to honor Leona’s legacy, to celebrate the people who refuse to give up, and to help push forward the research, support, and hope that every fighter deserves.
