I will be fighting for my father, Al Williams, who passed away on September 26th, 2023, after a courageous 22-year battle with health issues. In 2001, my dad was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure, but he was fortunate enough to receive a kidney transplant in 2003. However, after that kidney failed, he was diagnosed with kidney cancer 2007 and had to return to dialysis when the transplanted kidney was removed. In 2011, we received a life-changing call—they had a kidney for my dad. That day was the greatest of our lives. From 2011 to 2023, my dad lived life to the fullest and was always by my side, helping me grow into the man I am today. I owe everything to him for shaping my character, my heart, and the way I carry myself. Pops, I will continue to take care of Mom and be the man you’ve always known I could be. I love you and miss you so much.
