Hi there! 

It's a pleasure to be part of this event, hosted by Haymakers For Hope, that has raised so much money for cancer awareness and prevention. All proceeds of my fundraising efforts will be donated to Living Journey's, a Gunnison County charity.

Living Journeys charity helps individuals and their families in a desperate time of need and offers some relief from financial stresses and emotional support programs offering tools to manage emotions such as fear, anxiety and confusion that often accompany a cancer diagnosis.

In January, we lost an absolute force, Annie Coburn of Crested Butte, CO. Annie tenaciously battled stage 4 colon cancer for three years and somehow maintained her grace, poise and beauty through the entirety of her fight. I witnessed strength that I did not know could exist.

Annie always enjoyed watching her children and their friends compete. Whether that be Emma at the Olympics or a group of us playing fierce games of volleyball in her backyard - Annie always encouraged competition and cheered with a smile. She is greatly missed. 

A fight in the boxing ring is no comparison to the fight against cancer - that goes without saying. My hope is to raise money for Living Journey's to help those fighting cancer in Annie's town of Crested Butte. #anniesarmy
