I can't begin to express how excited and honored I am to have an opportunity to fight at this years H4H bout! For a few years now, it's been a personal goal of mine to get in the boxing ring... and the day has finally come. Not only will I have the opportunity to challenge myself in a way I never thought imaginable, I will also be working with an organization that is fighting for such an honorable cause.

One thing I've learned throughout my career, is that no matter the challenges you face, it's the team you have by your side that gives you the strength to surpass and overcome. That is what I hope to take away over the next 6 months. I'll be working along side some driven individuals who are fighting for all those people that have fought, or are fighting, an even bigger battle. 

So who is it that I'm fighting for? I'm fighting for all the amazing women in my life who have faced cancer dead one. I'm fighting for my grandparents, that although they are watching over me from above, put up a damn good fight. I'm fighting for all those individuals that have harnessed the strength and courage that only few can.

The next few months will be more of a mental challenge than a physical one... so here goes to the crazies and let's fight for a cure!
