I’m fighting in Haymakers for Hope on May 8th at MGM in Boston in honor of my dear friend, Brendan "Stu" Maguire, who tragically passed away from pancreatic cancer. Stu was the bassist for the iconic hardcore band Bane, but more than that, he was a huge influence on me and countless others. His music, his energy, and his unwavering passion for life left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

Stu’s battle with cancer was a reminder of how precious life is, and I’m stepping into the ring to honor his memory and the impact he had on my life. This fight is for Stu—his strength, his spirit, and the way he showed up for people every single day. I’m proud to fight not only to raise awareness and funds for cancer research but also to carry on the legacy of someone who taught me so much about perseverance, heart, and living with purpose.
