Until recently I had never been directly or indirectly affected by cancer. That changed this year, when my father was diagnosed with aggressive Bladder cancer. We continue to support his fight against this terrible disease and his next battle includes surgery that will affect the rest of his life. I’m confident he will take this on with his “get to work” mentality. He has been a phenomenal role model. By participating in “Haymakers for Hope”, my goal is to give him something to take his mind off his battle, provide my children an example of what a good role model is, and most importantly raise the funds to help those who, like my Dad, are waging their battle with cancer. For every dollar donated my company will match, so let’s get to work!
