Most of us know someone who’s fought cancer, and for me that’s my dad who was diagnosed last year. Thanks to early detection he’s in good shape a few months post radiation. I’ll be fighting and fundraising to increase access to screening for those at higher risk because the earlier cancer is caught, the better chance we have to knock it out!

My fundraiser will benefit MUSC Hollings Cancer Center’s SC AMEN Program which is working to screen more black men in my home state of South Carolina, who are 3x more likely to die of prostate cancer. Racial disparities for prostate cancer are as significant as they are unfortunate, and this program (supported by your donation) is having a direct impact on reducing them.
