With the relentless efforts of its participants, their families and friends, Haymakers For Hope strives to make an impact in the battle against cancer. Since its inception in 2010, the charitable organization has tirelessly aimed to ‘KO Cancer’ and has raised $6.6 million for cancer research, care, awareness, and survivorship. But the mission is far from finished. We will soon rally with the NYC community to fight for those who refuse to quit and continue to inspire. Leading up to my bout, I have committed to raising at least $10,000 for Haymakers for Hope. Hopefully with your help I can meet and significantly pass this total.

I will be fighting in memory of my girlfriend Kinsey’s mother Ann Zeller, passed away on July 20, 2017 after bravely battling and beating numerous forms of cancer throughout her life. The word ‘fighter’ barely begins to describe the depth of her courage. As someone who constantly said 'no' to the odds with a smile, Ann was and will forever be an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. My fundraising campaign and event participation are efforts to honor her legacy.

Each fighter is given the opportunity to select a specific charity of their choice. Mine is very meaningful and with your help will be immediately impactful. The family of cancers called sarcomas represent less than 1% of all cancers yet account for 70 different types of cancer. The Robert G. Maki Sarcoma Research Fund on Behalf of Ann Zeller has been set up to fund the continued immunotherapy research of Ann’s doctor, Dr. Maki and his talented team. Every dollar raised through kind donations and tickets sales through Haymakers For Hope will go directly to this cause.
