On November 3rd, I will be stepping into the boxing ring at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC to raise funds in our fight against cancer. Training has begun, and I’m [insert ALL of the emotions here] about the journey between now and fight night, but even more so about raising as much money as we can to help provide research facilities with the funds they need to find better treatments, screening tools, and, god willing, a cure for cancer.



There are a several ways that you can contribute. Links to donate and to buy tables/sponsorships for the event are now open with individual ticket sales set to open in mid-September.



Donations will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, two organizations that are both doing exceptional work and for a variety of reasons are near and dear to my heart and that of my family.



Note: all forms of contribution (donations, tables, sponsorships, tickets, etc) will count towards our goal. If your company matches donations, I’d encourage you to PLEASE give them a reason to do so :-)



As the late Robin Williams said, "everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind, always".



As I prepare to take on my opponent in the ring, my efforts will be easy compared to the battles that cancer patients have faced in the past, and the fights that so many are still waging head on. I’m fighting for the family, friends, and their loved ones that have been impacted by this terrible disease. And I’m fighting so that those that follow know less heartache and more hope.
