Cancer is an incredibly devastating disease. One that has affected you, your friends, your parents, your grandparents, your co-workers, and the list continues to grow. Everyday more and more people are given that terrifying diagnosis, which also means everyday someone is faced with the daunting challenge of fighting their cancer. I want to fight for that person to be able to win their fight and join the millions of survivors. I am thrilled to announce my participation in the 2022 Haymakers for Hope Rumble in the Rockies  charity boxing event taking place at the Fillmore Auditorium on June 16th.

 

Naive to the world of boxing, I will take on the challenge of training over the next four months to raise money for the Gabby Krause Foundation, a charity that is near and dear to my family. Gabby was diagnosed with brain cancer as a child and had the extraordinary ability to hold on to her playfulness, laughter, innocence, and joy throughout her fight. Gabby wanted other children affected by cancer to have moments of playfulness, laughter, innocence and joy amongst the terrible days cancer can bring and thus Bags of Fun was born. It is my goal to be able to help the Gabby Krause Foundation provide each and every child affected by cancer with a Bag of Fun in order to make their fight against their disease just a little bit brighter.
