Cancer is a devastating disease that has affected you, your friends, your mom, your grandmother, your co-workers, and the list continues to grow. Everyday someone is diagnosed with the “C” word, which also means everyday someone is faced with the daunting challenge of fighting their cancer. I chose to fight for that person to be able to win their fight and join the millions of survivors. I am thrilled to announce my participation in the third annual Haymakers for Hope Rumble in the Rockies 2020 charity boxing event taking place at the Fillmore Auditorium October 27th. 

 

Naive to the world of boxing, I will take on the challenge of training over the next four months to raise money for the Gabby Krause Foundation, a charity that is near and dear to my family. Gabby was diagnosed with brain cancer as a child and had the extraordinary ability to hold on to her playfulness, laughter, innocence, and joy throughout her fight. Gabby wanted other children affected by cancer to have moments of playfulness, laughter, innocence and joy amongst the terrible days cancer can bring and thus Bags of Fun was born. It is my goal to be able to help the Gabby Krause Foundation provide each and every child affected by cancer with a Bag of Fun in order to make their fight against their disease just a little bit brighter.
