I was born in Nigeria, but made a home in the South Suburbs of Chicago. In my life, I've come across certain crossroads that presented me an opportunity to become uncomfortable--place myself in positions where I could fail but nevertheless grow. During the pandemic, I turned to boxing as a means of relief and I soon fell in love. I'm fighting because I've let fear dictate my life too many times. I'm stepping outside my comfort zone and in the ring for those fighting for their lives against an unimaginable disease--cancer. I am fighting for those who have but no choice but to fight. I am fighting because I will no longer let fear dictate my life, and I want to help as many people as I can. I am fighting to conquer fear. Join me in my efforts to knock out cancer and conquer fear.
