Having lost my father, both grandfathers, an uncle and other loved ones to cancer over the years, I have seen the pain and loss first hand. Yet, my personal experiences do not compare with the devastation, incredible bravery and unwavering love that I have witnessed in young families inflicted with the disease.  And... there is nothing more beautifully powerful than the faith, will and determination of survivors and all of the impacted loved ones. 

I am humbled and proud to be a part of teams of incredible people within Seven Bridges Genomics (www.sevenbridges.com), the Unified Patient Network (www.unifiedpatientnetwork.org) and the Lea's Foundation for Leukemia Research (www.leasfoundation.org), who have dedicated themselves to finding ways to accelerate the development of novel cures and therapies.

In addition to funding mission critical research, the Lea's Foundation also provides critical emotional and financial support for patients and families in need.  Unfortunately, the Foundation's primary fundraising events have had to be cancelled for two years in a row, due to the pandemic. I am excited to step up, get in the ring, and raise funds to enable Lea's Foundation and others to continue their critical missions, during these difficult times.
