I'm fighting in this year "Belles of the Brawl" to raise awareness, support and money for all of those who fight without a choice!

I fight because I can and I chose to fight in hopes that in the future others don't have to. Though I may get hit a couple of times in my face, that still is nothing compared to the emotional, physical and mental damage folks endure during chemo, surgery or even losing someone they love due to cancer.

This year I'm fighting for my grandmother who lost her battle to cancer when I was a little girl. So I never got to experience her joyful and kind energy that everyone speaks about and though stepping into the ring for a couple of minuets wouldn't bring her back I know it would give a chance for the next little girl to experience love from their grandmother. 

I'm also fighting for those who have #KO cancer but still struggle with their mental health and choose not to speak on it. 

I happily would get in that ring and do what I can to fight this battle!

To prepare for each event, we combine the efforts of the first time amateur boxing participants, local boxing gyms and volunteers. We hope to help give life saving researchers the resources needed to fully focus their efforts on finding a cure."
