Picture it; you wake up, brush your teeth and head to the gym before starting your day at work. Shower and get your coffee ready for the commute in. Say “hi” to all your coworkers and friends along the way. Smile and laugh by the water cooler about your weekend plans. Make lunch and dinner reservations with a family member in town. Before you know it, your day is coming to an end. You get home, unwind, and relax for a bit. 

But what about those whose days are not as routine? Those who have to figure out a time in between meetings for doctors appointments and treatments. Who have to carry around special devices to aid them. The people who can’t meet up for lunch because they’re only allowed certain fluids or are just too exhausted from fighting to stay alive. The small things we do every day, can be the one thing others wish they still could do. 

That’s who I fight for. The people who fight every day for one minute of normalcy. One minute of not being reminded of their illness. One minute of a life without cancer. 

I could not be more excited to use my energy towards something good, KNOCKING OUT CANCER! And what an extreme honor it is to be selected by the Haymakers 4 Hope organization to participate in this charity event! 

Together we all can KNOCK OUT CANCER! I may be in the ring, but I still need all the support! The fight doesn’t end with the bell!
