Hey there! My name is Stephanie and I'm 32 years old. Never did I think I would be training to fight in an amateur boxing match, but we only live once right? Actually I'm just doing this to get out of running a half marathon - really - it was a choice between the two.

But in actuality I love Haymakers for Hope mission: To give everyday men and women the opportunity to literally knock out cancer by participating in amateur boxing.

My mom, was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was in high school. I remember watching her go through treatment and still to this day see the effects that the cancer drugs have had. Thankfully, she was one of the lucky ones who was able to beat it and has been in remission for over 15 years. But, there are so many others out there who are fighting daily - and that's why I'm here. To help raise money and awareness to one day finding a cure for this terrible disease.

I'm excited to be a part of such a great cause and can't wait for Fight Night in October!
