"Be afraid and do it anyway"
Why I fight?
I wanted to join the fight with so many of my friends and immediate family who have been impacted by this terrible disease. I can make a choice to get up and go to the boxing gym at 5am. I have the choice to control what goes into my body every day. I can get up and go to work and have a good day without thinking twice. My friends and family who are in treatment don't have the choice to go wherever their day takes them. They don't have a choice but to fight back. I hope I can inspire at least one other person to fight back against whatever fight they're fighting. To anyone going thorough treatment, I hope I can make a small difference in your fight to help you realize that you're not fighting alone. Together we can #KOCancer!
We give everyday men and women the opportunity to fight back against this terrible disease by training for, and competing in charity boxing events to raise money and awareness. To prepare for each event, we combine the efforts of the first time amateur boxing participants, local boxing gyms and volunteers. We hope to help give life saving researchers the resources needed to fully focus their efforts on finding a cure.
