[It] ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!
Why I fight?
My strongest motivation to fight is for my dad who has beat two separate stage IV cancer diagnoses with over a decade in between both fights. Through these journeys, my dad never failed to show strength and always kept his humor.
I dedicate my fight to my dad, Joe Cox, but I also dedicate my fight to my late Nana, Barbara Cox, and late Grandma, Diana Anastasio, who both fought breast cancer. I will also be dedicating my fight to Betsy Cavaleri, Betty Nee, Janet Anastasio, and many more of my friends and family that have fought cancer and everyone else that I have had the privilege of meeting who have fought or are fighting cancer.
I am honored to be fighting for the people that can’t!
